'Defeat Russia In Your Dream': Lavrov Rips Germany's Merz; Blasts 'European Political Masochists'

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has sharply criticised German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, accusing Western governments of putting the defeat of Russia above their own national interests. Addressing heads of leading African media outlets in Moscow, Lavrov called Western leaders “political masochists” and described information warfare as a weapon they were using to stay politically afloat. He claimed the strategy was losing ground amid worsening conditions for Europeans and asserted that Russia’s joint information efforts were producing results.
