Iran's Big Attack On 'U.S. & Israeli Spies': CIA & Mossad Agents Killed, American Weapons Seized?

Iranian authorities say security forces have dismantled a suspected armed cell in Bampur, in southeastern Sistan and Baluchestan province, arresting six people during a joint operation. Authorities describe the detainees as members of a “terrorist group” and say searches uncovered three Kalashnikov rifles, a handgun, seven ammunition magazines and 172 rounds. Sistan and Baluchestan borders Pakistan and Afghanistan and has repeatedly witnessed armed attacks and security operations. Iranian officials have not provided further details in the supplied material about the alleged group’s identity, the specific accusations against those detained or whether authorities believe an attack was being prepared. For now, Tehran’s claim is that six suspected militants have been detained and a cache of weapons removed during the Bampur operation.
