Putin Joins Hands With Iran On Nuclear Front? Big 'NUCLEAR SIGNAL' To Trump From Moscow

Vladimir Putin has reassured Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian that Russia is fulfilling its commitments to Iran as the two leaders met in Moscow amid heightened regional tensions. Putin said the situation in the region was a particular concern for Russia because of Moscow’s close relationship with Tehran and the two countries’ “many common interests.” He added that Russia was fulfilling “all the obligations” it had undertaken across joint projects. The Russian president also highlighted expanding economic ties, saying Russia-Iran trade increased 10.4% during the first eight months of the year. He specifically confirmed that construction work connected to the Bushehr nuclear power plant is continuing. The remarks followed one-on-one discussions between Putin and Pezeshkian about the regional situation, with Putin expressing hope that developments would move in a “positive” direction.
