'Depraved Moral Compass': John Legends Unleashes On Ramaswamy In Scathing Ohio Speech | Amy Acton

Singer John Legend has launched a sharp attack on Republican Ohio gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, criticising a controversial campaign advertisement targeting his Democratic rival, Amy Acton.

Speaking at a Democratic rally in Dayton, Ohio, on October 26, Legend joined Senate candidate Sherrod Brown and gubernatorial candidate Acton in the final push ahead of the November 3 midterm elections.

The controversy centres on a Ramaswamy campaign ad featuring Acton's estranged mother, Donna Arthur, who disputes Acton's account of her childhood and urges voters not to support her daughter. Acton has spoken publicly about childhood abuse, and her brother has backed her account.
