Taking aim at Republican rival Mike Rogers, El-Sayed told him to take Trump back to Florida, declaring that Democrats already had President Obama in the house. He then contrasted the two presidents' records, accusing Trump of dragging America into an unnecessary war with Iran while praising Obama for containing Tehran's nuclear threat without military conflict. El-Sayed also criticised Trump's tariffs and healthcare policies as the Michigan Senate race heats up ahead of the 2026 midterm elections.
