'DANGEROUS ESCALATION': Putin Ally's BRAZEN NUCLEAR THREAT To West; 'Sword Cuts Both Ways...'
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said that Minsk had no intention of taking any action that might be regarded as 'aggression' - but stressed the country 'must always be prepared for possible aggressive action' by its neighbours - speaking in Minsk on Tuesday. "We must not allow a new round of aggression to occur. No one needs that today. We must not take any actions that could be interpreted as aggression," Lukashenko noted. "But we must always be prepared for possible aggressive action by our neighbours or through their territory." Separately, the Belarusian leader criticised EU countries for increasing their military spending and for making statements about developing Europe’s nuclear capabilities - which he dubbed a 'dangerous escalation'.
