CONFIRMED: Putin’s Big Iran War Entry, Offers To Help Tehran; ‘Spooked’ Trump Watches ‘Helplessly’

Russian President Vladimir Putin has told Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian that Moscow is ready to assist efforts to mediate the months-long Middle East war.

According to Iranian state media, Putin backed efforts by countries seeking to reduce tensions and told Pezeshkian that Iran could be assured Russia was also prepared to play a role.

The offer comes as Moscow and Tehran deepen their strategic relationship and the conflict remains locked in a stalemate. Russia has previously offered to help stabilise the Strait of Hormuz and the wider Gulf region.

Iran continues to restrict the crucial Strait of Hormuz, while Washington and Tehran remain divided over the terms required to end the conflict.
