US President Donald Trump, Chinese President Xi Jinping and their wives visited the US National Archives on Friday (Sep 25).
“We’re just comparing,” Trump told reporters. “Ours goes 250 years, which is great, and we’re proud of it. But theirs goes 6,000 years.”
“There’s a little difference between 6,000 and 250, but we’re very proud of our 250,” Trump said.
Trump had earlier they would see some of the greatest treasures of US history at the National Archives, including the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
