US Senator Chris Van Hollen has called on European countries and other ICC signatories to impose sanctions on President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio over their stance on the International Criminal Court. His remarks follow reports that the Trump administration is planning broad sanctions against the ICC after it issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defence Minister Yoav Gallant over alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
