MBS' Riyadh Under Attack: Aramco Tank ON FIRE Near Airport After Explosions, Sirens
An Aramco fuel tank near Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport was left burnt out after air-raid sirens sounded and residents reported multiple explosions across the Saudi capital. A warning issued shortly before 3 a.m. described a “hostile aerial threat” and instructed residents to remain indoors. Saudi authorities later announced an all-clear, although witnesses reported hearing another series of explosions several hours afterwards. The cause of the fire has not been officially established, and Riyadh has not said whether the tank was struck directly, damaged by falling interception debris or affected by another incident. The alert was the first issued in Riyadh since Saudi Arabia’s fighting with Yemen’s Houthis intensified. The Houthis have recently escalated missile and drone operations while accusing the kingdom of conducting hundreds of strikes across Yemen. Whatever caused the blaze, the images show the conflict reaching the skies above Riyadh, the kingdom’s main aviation hub and infrastructure belonging to its state oil giant.
