'WE SAW IT FALL...': Eyewitness Recalls Split-Second Moment Before Fatal LA Chopper Crash | Watch

An eyewitness has described the terrifying moment an NBC4 news helicopter suddenly fell from the sky and crashed between buildings in Los Angeles. “We did see a helicopter for one second, and then it came down,” the witness recalled after the aircraft erupted in flames in the Chatsworth neighbourhood. Veteran aerial reporter Eliana Moreno and pilot George Marciniw were killed, along with one person on the ground. Two others were taken to hospital. The helicopter had been covering an earlier collision involving an SUV and a city bus. The National Transportation Safety Board and Federal Aviation Administration are investigating. No preliminary cause has been announced.
