Putin's Army Can Kill 1,000 NATO Troops Daily? NATO Nation Drops Brutal Russia Assessment, US Panics
Germany is testing whether its healthcare system could absorb as many as 1,000 wounded NATO soldiers every day during a direct conflict with Russia—and medical officials warn that the country is not ready. Military planners estimate that approximately 15,000 hospital beds could be continuously required for personnel evacuated from NATO’s eastern flank. But the Bundeswehr operates only five military hospitals, leaving civilian facilities to handle most casualties while continuing to care for Germany’s population. Berlin is expanding trauma training, considering the restoration of a Cold War nuclear bunker and preparing new legislation to coordinate hospital beds, medicines and medical personnel. Yet severe shortages of doctors experienced in blast injuries, burns and battlefield trauma remain.
