Saudi Arabia and Yemen are heading toward another dangerous escalation as Yemeni forces claim fresh strikes on Saudi troop concentrations and military positions in the al-Jawf desert. The reported operation comes after days of intensifying Saudi airstrikes across Yemen, with Sanaa warning that Saudi Arabia will not remain safe if the attacks continue.
Yemeni forces also claim they targeted King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushait with ballistic missiles and drones, while Saudi warplanes reportedly carried out dozens of strikes across Taiz, Lahj, al-Jawf, Marib and Hajjah.
