BREAKING: Trump draws gasps as he says reunification would be a 'great thing'

Donald Trump has said during a visit to the Republic of Ireland that he would "love to see" a reunified Ireland, claiming "it will happen eventually".

Answering a reporter's question, the US president said reunification would be a "great thing" but acknowledged "the UK might have something to say about it".

Sky's Stephen Murphy said the comments drew gasps and went down "like a bombshell".
