Welcome to Disneyland...the Happiest Place on Earth! 🏰🇺🇸 Join us for Vlog 2 (of 6) from our Disneyland & California series as we spend our first full day in the original Disneyland Park!
It is our first official day in Disneyland and it just so happens to be the park's 71st birthday! 🎂✨ We were so lucky to be celebrating the 70th Anniversary celebrations and the energy in the park was just incredible. In today's vlog, we are heading straight to Main Street to soak in the atmosphere (and get those all-important castle photos while I’m in my favourite outfit! 😂). We managed to tick off so many classic rides like Jungle Cruise, Indiana Jones, Big Thunder Mountain, and Haunted Mansion. We also headed over to ToonTown to check out Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway - the queue details are just amazing!
The highlight of the day for me was definitely the birthday celebrations. Hearing Walt Disney’s original opening day speech on Main Street actually made me cry! 🥹 We ended the night with the Wondrous Journeys fireworks and my absolute favourite, Paint The Night Parade. I haven't seen it since 2015 and it was just as magical as I remembered.
