Russian forces have expanded targeted strikes against Ukraine’s maritime logistics network across the Black Sea, using long-range Geran strike drones to hit military supply infrastructure and commercial cargo shipping. According to the Russian Defence Ministry, precision UAV strikes targeted military cargo vessels at Nikolayev Port, a container terminal and drone storage depot at Chernomorsk, and an offshore cargo ship south of Odesa. Russian military planners say the coordinated aerial campaign aims to disrupt weapons resupply routes, disable regional power substations supporting defense production, and weaken Ukrainian frontline operational capabilities in the southern theater.
