Prashant Kishore is set to register his maiden electoral victory after taking a decisive lead over the BJP in Bihar's Bankipur bypoll, ending the party's decades-long dominance in the constituency. Calling it a message from the people of Bihar, the Jan Suraaj chief said the verdict reflects the demand for better governance, jobs and an end to migration ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections. The BJP, however, has urged caution, saying the final verdict should be awaited before drawing conclusions.
