Russian forces launched coordinated drone strikes targeting Ukrainian port infrastructure and commercial vessels carrying military logistics across the Black Sea, the Russian Defence Ministry claimed on Monday. According to Moscow, Geran-4 seeker UAVs and loitering munitions struck two dry cargo ships, fuel storage tanks, and transshipment complexes supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the port city of Mykolaiv, while an additional military-linked vessel was engaged 11 kilometers east of Odesa. Local Ukrainian officials confirmed strikes on southern port facilities that damaged multiple cargo ships and left one person dead, marking a sharp escalation in the battle for Ukraine’s maritime supply lines.
