'Withdraw FIRs Against All Protesters': CJP Alleges Agreement Breach, Threatens To Return To Streets
The Combined Joint Platform (CJP) has alleged a breach of agreement by the government, threatening to return to the streets if FIRs against protesting students and volunteers are not immediately withdrawn. CJP claims to have received reports of hundreds of students being arrested or surveilled across Bihar, Bengal, Delhi, and other states. They demand that all FIRs be dropped and no future cases be filed by central agencies or state police, in line with prior assurances given by Union Minister JP Nadda and Jitendra Singh. The organization has set a deadline for a clear response from the government, warning that failure to meet these terms will force them to resume their agitation.
