Reuters given rare access to Chile's Mapuche communities as repression ramps up

After years of reclaiming ancestral lands through clashes, occupation and sabotage, militant Mapuche groups are on the backfoot as lengthy prison sentences and a crackdown by Chile’s new far-right president Jose Antonio Kast continues to grow.
