Breaking News: Sonam Wangchuk Pens New Letter To Govt, Says, 'Ready To End Fast If Promises Kept'

Sonam Wangchuk says he is willing to end his indefinite fast if the government assures that young people who joined the July 20 protest will not face punitive legal action. His letter also seeks compensation for families of students who died by suicide following the examination paper leak, a parliamentary discussion on accountability and consideration of the Union Education Minister's resignation. He says 65 members of Parliament across political parties have urged him to end the fast.
