Today we handed complete control of our Chicago adventure to Laurence Brown from Lost in the Pond... and we had absolutely NO IDEA where he was taking us next!
From iconic Chicago hot dogs and incredible Ghirardelli ice cream to rich Peet's Coffee, Firecakes Craft Donuts and our first authentic Lou Malnati's Chicago deep dish pizza, every stop was a complete surprise.
Laurence and his wife Tarah planned our entire day (and even the following morning!) while we simply climbed into the car and enjoyed the ride.
This wasn't just a food tour...
It became one of our favourite days we've ever had in America.
