The final step before the concrete pour! In this video I'm laying rebar across my entire foundation, the last major task before my off-grid straw bale house gets its concrete slab.
I'm a solo woman building my own house by hand on 40 acres of raw desert land in the high desert, completely off-grid. This foundation has been months in the making, excavation, plumbing, inspection, vapor barrier, foam insulation, radiant floor PEX, and now rebar, all leading up to this pour.
