Cannabis vapes were among €100,000 worth of drugs that were seized in south Dublin today.A man in his 40s was also arrested after the seizure in Rialto earlier. Approximately €25,970 of suspected cocaine; €12,000 of suspected cannabis vapes; €35,994 of suspected Diamorphine; €32,480 of suspected Zopiclone tablets, a sum of cash cash and other drug paraphernalia was recovered by gardai.A garda spokesperson said: "As part of the ongoing operation targeting the sale and supply of drugs in the Dublin Metropolitan Region (DMR), Gardaí seized in excess of €100,000 worth of controlled drugs on Wednesday 4th February, 2026. The search of a premises in the Rialto area was conducted by DMR South Central Divisional Drugs Unit with assistance from the Divisional Crime Taskforce."During the course of this search, approximately €25,970 of suspected cocaine; €12,000 of suspected cannabis vapes; €35,994 of suspected Diamorphine; €32,480 of suspected Zopiclone tablets, a sum of cash cash and other drug paraphernalia was recovered.
