CCPC recall popular Flying Tiger children's toy 'stop use immediately'

A children's tea set from popular shop Flying Tiger has been recalled.Flying Tiger Copenhagen, known for its range of affordable, aesthetically pleasing goods, is recalling the set, with approximately 1123 affected products in the Republic of Ireland.The risk reported to the CCPC is choking. Small parts can come loose from the teapot’s lid and the metal fastenings on the storage case.These small parts could present a choking hazard for small children. The item number is 3058431. All batches are affected. The affected products were on sale from July 2024."It is essential to us that our customers trust the quality and safety of our products. Consequently, we react as quickly as possible when we discover products that are not compliant with the legal regulations," sad a statement on the Flying Tiger website.Customers should stop using this product immediately and keep it out of the reach of children. They said that the product does not comply with EU food contact regulation.The product is called the glass drinking 200ml single flowers mixed colours, with the item number 3060031, all batches, sold since January 2025.Customers should stop using this product immediately.
