'WE OWN GREENLAND!' Trump Makes Explosive Claim About Denmark Deal; Says U.S. Has 'Every Right'

Donald Trump has claimed that the United States now owns Greenland following an agreement with Denmark signed approximately two weeks earlier. Speaking at a rally, Trump said the arrangement gives Washington extensive rights over the Arctic territory for an indefinite period, insisting that the development received little media coverage. He also suggested the agreement amounted to a purchase. However, Trump's remarks do not establish that Greenland's sovereignty has transferred to the United States.
