White House calls on Kimberly Guilfoyle to resign as Greece ambassador

Katie Zacharia has made her debut as Donald Trump's new White House press secretary.

She follows in the footsteps of Karoline Leavitt, who announced she was quitting in August to spend more time with her family.

Ms Zacharia only took two questions from reporters - and confirmed that the Trump administration's ambassador to Greece, Kimberly Guilfoyle, had been asked to resign over allegations of improper conduct.

Ms Guilfoyle is the ex-fiancée of the president's son, Donald Trump Jr.
