Iran has executed two men accused of involvement in the killing of four police officers during January unrest in Isfahan. Judiciary-run Mizan identified them as Alireza Sepahi and Alireza Raisi, saying the Supreme Court had upheld their death sentences. The executions follow the September 30 hanging of Ali Hemmati and Majid Nik-Andish over alleged involvement in unrest in Mashhad that the judiciary said resulted in four security personnel being killed.
