Axios, citing US officials, reported that the US mission to the UN informed Iran that the delegation had to depart immediately. One US official said Rubio had “kicked out” the delegation because the General Assembly had ended. Araghchi later flew to Doha as Qatari mediators continued efforts to revive stalled negotiations.
