Iran says it is designing new weapons and continuously upgrading and mass-producing its existing arsenal as tensions with the United States and Israel remain high. Revolutionary Guards spokesperson Hossein Mohebbi said Tehran could unveil new weapons if the conflict takes “a new form.”
The statement comes as U.S. President Donald Trump says American officials are speaking with mediators in an effort to end the war with Iran, while also declaring that the U.S. will win the conflict “very soon.”
Trump has repeatedly cited preventing Iran from developing a nuclear weapon as a key reason for the war. As diplomatic efforts continue, Iran’s latest weapons warning signals that Tehran is preparing for a potentially prolonged confrontation.
