The progression run is the single best workout you can do in a marathon block. And almost every runner makes the same mistake when they do it.
In this video I'm breaking down exactly how to do a progression run, why it works across the three intensity domains from your first lactate threshold all the way up to your second, and how to set your own paces whether you are a beginner or chasing a marathon PB. I also did one myself at 7,000ft of altitude in Flagstaff and I'm sharing every mile and the five point checklist I use to decide whether a progression run session actually went well.
Whether you're training for a 10K, a half marathon, or a marathon, there is a version of this session for you ✌🏻
