The 2024 Acura ZDX is Acura’s first electric vehicle, but its origin story is unlike anything else in the brand's history. Built in partnership with General Motors on the Ultium platform, the ZDX shares its massive 102 kWh battery pack with the Cadillac Lyriq. With the GM-Honda joint venture ending after a short run, the ZDX has quietly turned into one of the biggest depreciation bargains on the used EV market.
In this review, we cover its real-world usability, GM-derived tech, charging speeds, and trim breakdown:
A-Spec RWD: 358 hp, 313 miles of EPA range, 20-inch wheels, and an 18-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system.
A-Spec AWD: 490 hp dual-motor setup, 304 miles of range, and a 3,500 lb towing capacity.
Type S: 499 hp, 544 lb-ft of torque, adaptive air suspension, Brembo front brakes, and Hands-Free Cruise (Super Cruise).
Used Value: Original MSRPs stretched from $65,000 to over $74,000, but used A-Spec models are now hovering in the low $30,000 range—offering incredible luxury EV value while retaining factory warranty coverage.
