🚨 CAT MATLALA TRIAL UPDATE

The State has closed its case in the trial-within-a-trial involving alleged underworld figure Vusimuzi “Cat” Matlala and his co-accused.

The defence is now expected to present its evidence after challenging key aspects of the State’s case surrounding the arrest of alleged hitman Musa Kekana.

The trial-within-a-trial will determine whether evidence obtained following Kekana’s arrest can be admitted into the main trial.

Matlala, his wife Tsakane and three co-accused have pleaded not guilty to charges including the alleged attempted murders of three well-known individuals.
