World's best wheelchair basketball players compete

Some of the best wheelchair basketball players in the world are competing in Ottawa this week for the 2026 World Championships. CTV's Josh Marano speaks with Team Canada athlete Cindy Ouellet, who says playing a world championship at home in front of family and friends means everything to her. Wheelchair Basketball Canada CEO Wendy Gittens notes the massive event features 336 athletes from 19 nations and is supported by over 400 volunteers. The Canadian women's team remains undefeated after beating China, while the Canadian men prepare for their next match with a record of one win and one loss.
