A major milestone day for our family's future! Today, Kamal, Halima, Mother, Umm al-Banin, Aqil, and Hassan all travel together to our house under construction—and for the very first time, we bring sweet baby Helen along to see where she will grow up! 🏛️👶❤️

While the family explores the site, Kamal climbs up to water and cure the newly poured concrete columns to make sure the structure stays strong. Seeing baby Helen’s big smiles at the build site gives us all so much inspiration to keep pushing forward on our village homestead. 🏗️🌾

Building a home with our own hands for the next generation is hard work, but having the whole family together makes every moment special.
