Reform UK is holding its party conference in Birmingham after losing its commanding lead in the opinion polls and slipping to third place, following a summer of scrutiny over Nigel Farage and the party's finances.
Inside the conference, support for the party remains strong. But outside the conference bubble, in areas where Reform gained support this year, voters gave a more mixed picture.
That mixed picture underscores the challenge facing Reform: while support remains solid within the conference, the party still has to convince voters beyond it that it can be trusted in government.
