Four independent weapons experts who reviewed verified images and videos concluded the blast was consistent with a direct US munition striking the building, not secondary damage from another target. The suspected military objective was a telecommunications tower just 135 metres away. Following the revelations, US Vice President JD Vance said Washington is investigating the civilian deaths.
