Iran has issued a fresh warning to the United States, threatening to target U.S. economic interests across the Middle East if Washington continues what Tehran calls a maritime blockade. Iran's Supreme National Security Council Secretary Mohsen Rezaei said the Islamic Republic would respond "with intensity and force" if the blockade remains in place. The warning comes after U.S. President Donald Trump claimed that the United States has control over the Strait of Hormuz and that "not one ship has gotten through" under the U.S. blockade. Meanwhile, Tehran insists it has continued exporting oil, restored sales to pre-sanctions levels, and is preparing conditions for reopening the strategic waterway.
