Parent of teen who died by suicide 'pleased' with Meta settlement

Meta agreed to pay up to $18 billion to resolve claims by most US states that it designed Facebook and Instagram to addict children. Victoria Hinks, whose daughter died by suicide at age 16, said she is ‘very pleased’ by the settlements .
