From the ramparts of the Red Fort, PM Modi unveiled a bold new vision for India's future called "Shakti Ki Sapt Dhara," seven streams of strength meant to drive the country toward becoming a developed nation by 2047. The seven pillars include manufacturing, agriculture and food processing, technology and innovation, Gati-Shakti connectivity, Raksha Shakti (defence production), the green and blue economy, and India's soft power. Modi tied this vision to India's growing self-reliance, pointing to progress in semiconductor manufacturing and nuclear technology as proof the plan is already taking shape.
