The Trump administration slammed Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz after he declared that IDF would not withdraw from security zones in southern Lebanon, Syria, and Gaza. The U.S. State Department stating that a permanent Israeli military presence in southern Lebanon is inconsistent with the U.S.-brokered framework agreement between Israel and Lebanon. Washington also reaffirmed its support for Lebanon's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
