Bansuri Swaraj Hits Opposition Over Paper Leaks | 'Selective Outrage' In Parliament | N18V | 4K

BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj launched a sharp attack on the Opposition during the Lok Sabha debate on the Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, 2026.

Accusing the Opposition of "selective outrage" over exam paper leaks, Swaraj argued that such incidents also took place during the Congress-led UPA government and in states ruled by Opposition parties. She rejected claims that paper leaks began only after 2014 and said the Modi government had introduced structural reforms to strengthen India's examination system.

Defending the amendment bill, Swaraj said it would help tackle organised examination mafias through faster prosecution, stricter punishments, fast-track courts and special public prosecutors. She also highlighted the creation of the National Testing Agency (NTA) and the expansion of higher education institutions under the Modi government.
