What impressed us most is that the sportfishing layout doesn't compromise the yacht's expedition credentials. Twin MTU diesel engines, over 3,200 nautical miles of range, massive anchoring equipment, redundant onboard systems and Nordhavn's famously accessible engine room remain firmly at the heart of the boat. Meanwhile, the enormous cockpit, Release Marine fighting chair, mezzanine seating and dedicated bait preparation area add an entirely new dimension to life on board.
Inside, Rhino feels every bit the luxury passagemaker, with a spacious saloon, residential-style galley, raised pilothouse, four-cabin layout and even a hidden wine cellar in the owner's suite. It's a yacht built for crossing oceans in complete comfort before dropping lines in some of the world's most remote fishing grounds.
By the end of the review, Jack reaches an unexpected conclusion: rather than watering down the Nordhavn formula, the EYF75 may actually improve it by making the yacht even more versatile without sacrificing the qualities that made the brand famous.
