RADEV REBELS: Bulgaria REJECTS Macron's Coalition Invite, Refuses Military Aid For Ukraine!
Bulgarian Prime Minister Rumen Radev rejected a personal invitation from French President Emmanuel Macron to join the Coalition of the Willing, saying "Bulgaria's place is not there" because Sofia refuses to participate in a group that insists on continued financial and military aid for Ukraine. Radev said Bulgaria's position is that the solution to the conflict "does not lie in its prolongation by military means, but in a strong diplomatic mission that will finally put an end to the escalation," becoming one of the few EU and NATO member states to publicly distance itself from the French and British-led coalition. The coalition, which met in Paris on Monday, agreed to continue military and financial support for Kyiv, increase deliveries of air defence systems and long-range weapons, announce an anti-ballistic missile initiative, and plan exercises for a Multinational Force for Ukraine ahead of any possible post-ceasefire deployment.
