US-Iran War: Boats Ablaze at Iran's Nuclear Hub After Blasts as Strait of Hormuz Tensions Escalate

Several fishing boats caught fire at a pier in Iran's Bushehr Province, which houses the country's only operating nuclear power plant, following reports of multiple explosions. This comes after the United States military launched strikes to keep the Strait of Hormuz open, triggering retaliatory Iranian attacks on Kuwait and Bahrain. While the United States has denied launching any attacks in the last twelve hours, projectiles were reportedly fired towards southern Iran, with Iranian air defence systems intercepting some of them. Shipping through the Strait of Hormuz remains restricted, with vessel operators avoiding the Oman coast and navigating through routes designated by Iran.
