Yet another weekly K-drama is coming to Netflix in December 2025! On December 22nd, Netflix will receive weekly episodes of I Dol I, starring Choi Soo Young, Kim Jae Yeong, and Choi Hee Jin. Here’s everything we know so far about I Dol I on Netflix.
I Dol I is an upcoming internationally licensed Netflix Original romantic comedy series directed by Lee Gwang Young, known for her work on both seasons of No Thank You, Call it Love, and The Secret Life of My Secretary. Outside of Netflix, the series will be broadcast on the South Korean network ENA Genie TV.
When is I Dol I released on Netflix?
We can confirm that I Dol I will release its first episode on Netflix on December 22, 2025.
The series will run for 12 episodes, with two new episodes airing each week on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Each episode has a 60-minute runtime.

What is the plot of I Dol I?
Maeng Se Na is a talented lawyer with a reputation for taking on unpopular criminal cases, earning her the nickname “lawyer for villains.” In secret, she is a devoted fan of the boy band Gold Boys, and when the band’s vocalist becomes a suspect in a murder, she takes on his case, uncovering a startling, unexpected truth.

Who are the cast members of I Dol I?
Choi Soo Young plays Maeng Se Na. I Dol I is only the second Netflix project for the actress, and the first for 5 years since she starred in Run On. She has starred in lead roles in K-dramas such as Fanletter Please, If You Wish Upon Me, Tell Me What You Saw, and Squid 38.

Kim Jae Yeong plays Do Ra Ik. The actor has starred in Netflix K-dramas When Life Gives You Tangerines and Reflection of You. Outside of Netflix, the actor has starred in K-dramas such as Love in Contract, Secret Boutique, and 100 Days My Prince.
