All the New Christmas Movies and Shows Coming to Netflix in December 2025

As expected, Netflix has a festive slate of content to satisfy subscribers this holiday season. In this post, we take a look at every Christmas movie and series coming to the streamer this December.
Netflix already has a big Christmas library. Look no further than the streamer’s interconnected Christmas Universe (which you can learn more about here). Additionally, Netflix licensed over 20 movies in November 2025. There’s already no shortage of festive offerings in its library, but more entries are always welcome.
Below, we list every new Netflix Original Christmas movie and series coming this December, as well as licensed content streaming, and don’t forget that on Christmas Day, Netflix will release new episodes of Stranger Things, plus stream live its Christmas NFL games, including the Cowboys vs the Commanders and the Lions vs the Vikings.

Coming to Netflix: December 2
American comedian Matt Rife presents his own Christmas special. In Unwrapped, he takes to the stage and confronts his audience, exploring everything from gifts gone wrong to family tradition fails. Many of them may not make it to the Nice List! Unwrapped will undoubtedly be a boatload of laughter.
My Secret Santa
Coming to Netflix: December 3
My Secret Santa is a new movie from Netflix. Traditionally cheesy and fun, we follow single mom Taylor (Virgin River’s Alexandra Breckenridge), who unwittingly takes a job as a ski resort Santa to fund her daughter’s ski lessons. But while disguised as St. Nick, she falls for the charming hotel manager (Ryan Eggold). Netflix has had a pretty good streak of great new holiday rom-coms. Can My Secret Santa end the slate with a bang? We’ll find out in early December.

Whether you liked With Love, Meghan or not, there’s absolutely no doubting that there’s a big audience for it. The lifestyle series follows Meghan Markle as she invites various friends and celebrities to her Californian home, where she hosts dinner, shares gardening tips, and so on. The Night My Dad Saved Christmas 2
Coming to Netflix: December 5
Spanish Christmas movie The Night My Dad Saved Christmas is getting a sequel. In the first movie, Santa crashed into Madrid and suffered great injuries, ultimately seeing his fellow patient, Salva, take the mantle of Santa to save Christmas. In the sequel, the evil director of a toy company kidnaps Santa. Once more unavailable for the big night, the duty falls to a father and son to deliver festive magic across the world.
Elmo and Mark Rober’s Merry Giftmas
Coming to Netflix: December 8
Former NASA engineer-turned-YouTuber Mark Rober has teamed up with Elmo and the Sesame Street family to build unique and special gifts. When you’ve got the wild and whimsical imagination of Sesame Street favourites, mixed with the engineering prowess of Rober, pretty much anything is possible.
Man Vs Baby
Coming to Netflix: December 11
British comedy icon Rowan Atkinson returns as lovable Trevor Bingley, who’s since moved on from housesitting for the quieter, more relaxing life of a school caretaker. However, when he’s offered a handsome sum to look after a luxury London penthouse over Christmas, it’s too much to resist. Not only that, but he finds himself stuck looking after the Baby Jesus from the school Christmas nativity play. What could go wrong?
Home for Christmas: Season 3
Coming to Netflix: December 12
In its first season, Home for Christmas followed hopeless romantic Johanne (Ida Elise Broch), who embarked on a a 24-day hunt for a boyfriend to bring home for Christmas. After years of heartbreak, in season 3, Johanne decides it’s time to enjoy this year’s festivities without relationship complications. But, of course, it’s not as easy as she thinks it’s going to be.
Sicily Express
Coming to Netflix: December 22
Legendary Sicilian duo Ficarra & Picone are back with an all-new, 5-part limited series. In Sicily Express, we follow Salvo and Valentino, who both work as nurses in Milan, balancing their time between their work life and family life. However, when they encounter a magical portal just before Christmas, they find that they can travel to their families in mere seconds.
Goodbye June
Coming to Netflix: December 24
Oscar-winning actress Kate Winslet makes her directorial debut with Goodbye June. A very British festive drama, Goodbye June takes place just before Christmas, when June, a mother of four, falls ill. As her health deteriorates, the four fractured siblings and their father navigate the tough period in various messy ways. However, as for June herself, she simply wants to bow out with laughs and joy, surrounded by the ones she loves.
Winslet not only serves as director, but also stars in the movie. The cast includes Toni Collette, Helen Mirren, Johnny Flynn, Andrea Riseborough, and Stephen Merchant.

Joy for Christmas (2021)
A quintessential hallmark movie, Joy for Christmas, premiered back in 2021. Starring Erin Boyes and Samuel Page, we follow publicist Holly (Boyes), who strives to enlist the help of professional athlete Jack Kane to become the face of her family’s charity campaign. Naturally, a romance begins to ensue.
A Lot Like Christmas (2021)
Coming to Netflix: December 5
Maggie Lawson stars as Jessica Roberts, who owns the most popular Christmas Tree lot in Hudson Springs. However, competition arises when big-city marketing executive, Clay Moore (Christopher Russell), opens up a store in the area, taking away from her small enterprise. As the holiday season heats up, Jasmine and Clay go head-to-head in business and find themselves falling for each other.
A Cowboy Christmas Romance (2023)
Coming to Netflix: December 15
Superstar real estate agent Lexie Crenshaw (Jane Kramer) is sent back to her hometown of Tubac to close on a big ranch in time for Christmas. However, as good at her job as she might be, the ranch’s owner is ardent about not letting go. Rather than selling up, a romance might instead arise.
Christmas at the Chalet (2023)
Coming to Netflix: December 15
Former TV host Lex (Teri Hatcher) spends Christmas in a luxurious chalet with her son, ex-husband, and his new girlfriend. What could possibly go wrong? In order to keep her distance and avoid awkwardness, Lex volunteers at the chalet, documenting her experience to her myriad followers.
The Christmas Classic (2023)
Coming to Netflix: December 15
Malin Akerman (The Hunting Wives) headlines The Christmas Classic. She plays Elizabeth Bird, an employee of her fiancé’s father, who’s sent back to her hometown with the goal of persuading an ex-boyfriend to sell his ski resort to the company. The movie received mixed reviews, with critics calling it charming, sweet, and witty.
Christmas on the Alpaca Farm (2023)
Coming to Netflix: December 15
After quitting her job because her boss wasn’t sustainable enough, aspiring designer Jess (Kirsten Comerford) teams up with Andrew (Matt Wells), an alpaca farmer and widower, to get an edge in winning a competition for luxury knits. Together, they spread love and Christmas joy on the farm
