Jeffrey Epstein's brother claims files are being 'scrubbed' before release
Mark Epstein, the brother of the infamous sex offender Jeffrey, has claimed that the Epstein files are being ‘sanitised’ and ‘scrubbed’.
Mark claimed that he was told by ‘a pretty good source’ that the files are being edited to remove the names of US Republicans who feature in them.
On Tuesday, the US House of Representatives voted almost unanimously to make the Justice Department publicly release all of the files relating to Jeffrey Epstein’s sex crimes.

This came after Donald Trump did a U-turn and urged his party members to vote for their release after months of pressure mounting on the US President.
Trump had previously put his allies under pressure not to release them, but gave in when members of the Republican party and MAGA movement began to turn on him.
The US Senate also agreed to pass the measure straight to the White House as soon as it arrives from the chamber.

The Senate had not yet received the bill from the House when it adjourned on Tuesday night.
Trump has said that he will sign it when it reaches his desk.
However, Mark Epstein’s claim that the files are being ‘scrubbed’ will certainly raise eyebrows.

In a phone interview with News Nation, he said: ‘The reason they’re gonna be releasing these things, the reason for the flip is that they’re sanitising these files.
‘There’s a facility in Winchester, Virginia, where they’re scrubbing the files to take Republican names out.
‘That’s what I was told by a pretty good source.’
Despite Trump’s promise not to veto the release of the files, many are doubtful that major revelations will come in the near future.
The Justice Department still has the power to hold back information if its release ‘would jeopardise an active federal investigation’.
Trump has been feeling the heat throughout his second term as president due to the Epstein files.
Over the course of the year, many new details and allegations have emerged surrounding Trump and Epstein’s past relationship.
Recently, emails from the Epstein estate claimed that Trump ‘knew about the girls’ and spent ‘hours’ with one of the victims.
Epstein also offered to show a reporter photos ‘of Donald and girls in bikinis in my kitchen’ and said that the US president does not have ‘one decent cell in his body’.
