Iran War ‘Leak’ SHOCKS Pentagon; Hegseth OUSTS Top General As Trump Mulls New Military Strikes

US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has removed Lt. Gen. Brett Sylvia, the Pentagon’s top strategy and planning officer, as Donald Trump weighs possible new military action against Iran. Sylvia led the Joint Chiefs’ J5 strategy, plans and policy directorate, a key role in shaping US military options and assessing operational risks. His departure comes amid reports that American forces in the Middle East could be ready for major operations against Iran within 96 hours of receiving an order from Trump.
