Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has taken a sharp jibe at the United States while speaking at a rally in Calgary, joking that efforts to reduce Canada's dependence on the U.S. could be mistaken for “election interference.” Carney made the remark after highlighting Canada's plans to build new ports, mines and energy corridors, including the proposed Pacific Link pipeline.
